Wat leuk dat u interesse heeft in onze school!
De Wethouder van Eupenschool is een basisschool met een open en vriendelijk klimaat waar kinderen zich ontwikkelen tot zelfredzame wereldburgers. Onze kernwaarden zijn Geluk(kig), Ontwikkeling en Eigenheid. Wij vinden het belangrijk dat kinderen zich prettig voelen, zich breed ontwikkelen en zichzelf kunnen zijn.
Als buurtschool vinden wij het belangrijk dat kinderen uit onze wijk bij ons naar school kunnen gaan. Daarom krijgen kinderen die in onze wijk wonen voorrang bij plaatsing.

Overweegt u om uw kind bij ons op school aan te melden? Dan bent u van harte welkom voor een gesprek en rondleiding. Vanaf het moment dat uw kind 2,5 jaar oud is kunt u contact met ons opnemen om een afspraak te maken.

Interesselijst
Na de rondleiding kunt u uw kind op onze interesselijst laten plaatsen. Omdat ons schoolgebouw dertien lokalen heeft, hebben we een beperkt aantal plaatsen. Met de interesselijst houden we overzicht over toekomstige aanmeldingen. Plaatsing op de interesselijst betekent nog geen officiële aanmelding.
Aanmelden
Kinderen kunnen officieel worden aangemeld vanaf de leeftijd van drie jaar. Wanneer uw kind bijna drie jaar wordt laten wij u weten of uw kind kan worden aangemeld. U ontvangt het aanmeldformulier van ons wanneer er, op basis van de interesselijst, ruimte is om uw kind aan te melden.
Hoe verloopt het proces van aanmelden tot plaatsing?
Het aanmelden en plaatsen van leerlingen verloopt volgens de procedure van Stichting Katholiek Primair Onderwijs Eindhoven (SKPO). In onderstaand schema ziet u in één oogopslag welke stappen worden doorlopen van aanmelding tot plaatsing: Schema: proces van aanmelding tot plaatsing
Hoe bepalen we welke kinderen geplaatst worden?
Bij het plaatsen van leerlingen hanteren we de volgende volgorde:
Wanneer het aantal aanmeldingen groter is dan het aantal beschikbare plaatsen, kan de school besluiten om te loten tussen leerlingen die aan dezelfde plaatsingscriteria voldoen.
Loting kan bijvoorbeeld plaatsvinden tussen leerlingen uit hetzelfde postcodegebied of tussen leerlingen van buiten de wijk wanneer er meer aanmeldingen zijn dan beschikbare plaatsen. De loting wordt uitgevoerd door de schoolleiding op een transparante en zorgvuldige wijze. Ouders worden na afloop geïnformeerd over de uitkomst.
Wanneer hoort u of uw kind geplaatst kan worden?
U ontvangt maximaal tien weken na ontvangst van het ingevulde aanmeldformulier bericht over de plaatsing. Ongeveer zes weken voor de start ontvangt u informatie over de groep, de leerkracht, wenmomenten en een huisbezoek.

Verhuist u of overweegt u een overstap van school? Neem dan contact met ons op. We bekijken samen of er plek beschikbaar is en of wij kunnen bieden wat uw kind nodig heeft.

We are delighted that you are interested in our school!
De Wethouder van Eupenschool is a primary school with an open and friendly atmosphere, where children develop into self-reliant global citizens. Our core values are Happiness, Development, and Individuality. We believe it is essential that children feel at ease, receive a broad education, and are encouraged to be themselves.
As a community school, we feel it is important that children from our local area are able to attend our school. Therefore, priority for placement is given to children residing in our neighbourhood.
Getting to know our school
Are you considering applying for a place for your child at our school? If so, you are very welcome to join us for an introductory meeting and a tour. You may contact us to schedule an appointment from the time your child reaches the age of 2.5 years.

Expression of Interest List
Following the tour, you may place your child on our expression of interest list. As our school building comprises thirteen classrooms, we have a limited number of places available. The interest list allows us to maintain an overview of future applications. Please note that being placed on the interest list does not constitute an official application.
Application
Children can be officially applied for from the age of three. When your child is approaching their third birthday, we will inform you whether an application can be made. You will receive the application form from us if, based on the interest list, there is capacity to apply for your child. Schedule of application
How does the process from application to enrollment work?
The application and enrollment of pupils are conducted in accordance with the procedures of the Stichting Katholiek Primair Onderwijs Eindhoven (SKPO). How do we determine which children are placed?
When allocating places to pupils, we apply the following criteria in order of priority:
In the event that the number of applications exceeds the number of available places, the school may decide to hold a ballot (lottery) between pupils who meet the same placement criteria. A ballot may occur, for instance, between pupils from the same postcode area or between pupils from outside the neighbourhood when applications exceed capacity. The ballot is conducted by the school leadership in a transparent and diligent manner. Parents will be informed of the outcome thereafter.
When will you hear if your child can be placed?
You will receive notification regarding placement no later than ten weeks after we receive the completed application form. Approximately six weeks before your child starts, you will receive information regarding their class, their teacher, settling-in sessions, and a home visit.

Are you moving house or considering a school transfer? Please contact us. Together, we will assess whether there is availability and whether we can meet your child's specific educational needs.
